The B-Meson Distribution Amplitude in QCD
The B-meson distribution amplitude is calculated using QCD sum rules. In particular we obtain an estimate for the integral relevant to exclusive B-decays λB = 460± 110 MeV at the scale 1 GeV. A simple QCD-motivated parametrization of the distribution amplitude is suggested. ∗Unite Mixte de Recherche du CNRS (UMR 8627)
متن کاملB - Meson Distribution Amplitude from the B → π Form Factor
Employing the light-cone sum rule approach in QCD, we relate the B-meson distribution amplitude to the B → π form factor at zero momentum transfer. In leading order, the sum rule is converted into a simple expression for the inverse moment λB of the distribution amplitude φ+. Using as an input the B → π form factor calculated from the light-cone sum rule in terms of pion distribution amplitudes...
متن کاملEvolution equation for the higher twist B-meson distribution amplitude
We find that the evolution equation for the three-particle quark-gluon B-meson light-cone distribution amplitude (DA) of subleading twist is completely integrable in the largeNc limit and can be solved exactly. The lowest anomalous dimension is separated from the remaining, continuous spectrum by a finite gap. The corresponding eigenfunction coincides with the contribution of quark-gluon states...
متن کاملPerturbative QCD analysis of B meson decays.
Resummation of large QCD radiative corrections, including leading and next-to-leading logarithms, in pion electromagnetic form factor is reviewed. Similar formalism is applied to exclusive processes involving heavy mesons, and leads to Sudakov suppression for the semi-leptonic decay B → πlν. It is found that, with the inclusion of Sudakov effects, perturbative QCD analysis of this decay is poss...
متن کاملPion distribution amplitude from lattice QCD.
A method is explained through which a pointwise accurate approximation to the pion's valence-quark distribution amplitude (PDA) may be obtained from a limited number of moments. In connection with the single nontrivial moment accessible in contemporary simulations of lattice-regularized QCD, the method yields a PDA that is a broad concave function whose pointwise form agrees with that predicted...
